A genuine Clydesdale horse experience on a working farm — perfectly suited for coach groups, tour operators and organised day trips along the NSW coast. Delivering unforgettable experiences for over 30 years.
Bulahdelah sits right on the route between Sydney and Port Macquarie — a natural stopping point with something genuinely different to offer your group. No gift shop. No theme park. Just real horses, a real stockman, and an experience people talk about for years.
A clean, defined session time — easy to schedule into a day trip itinerary. Groups arrive at 10am and leave by noon, relaxed and happy.
We accommodate full coach loads comfortably. Everyone gets close to the horses — this isn't a stand-and-watch experience, it's hands-on for the whole group.
Clydesdales are part of Australia's history. Watching a working demonstration in full stockman gear is something your passengers genuinely won't find anywhere else on the coast.
We've been welcoming tour groups for over 30 years. You can count on a professional, well-run experience every time — no surprises, just happy passengers.
Session format:
Your group arrives and is welcomed to the farm and are introduced to Dusty May, Hercules, Jax and Murphy — our Clydesdales and one very opinionated donkey.
Watch the Clydesdales put through a real working demonstration — long reining, commands, and movement. This is the same work these horses were bred for over a century of Australian farming.
The whole group gets time up close — feeding by hand, patting, and plenty of photo opportunities. Bring carrots if you like. Murphy the donkey usually steals the show.
Learn about the Clydesdale breed and its role in building Australia. Patrick shares the story behind each horse and what life on a working farm looks like today.
On display is a full working heavy horse harness — the leather collar, hames, traces and all the equipment used to pull a plough. Visitors are welcome to touch it, try it on and learn how it all fits together. A rare chance to handle a piece of Australia's real farming history.
Plenty of time for questions and one-on-one interaction with the horses. No one gets rushed — everyone leaves having had their moment.
Many of our tour groups stop in the town of Bulahdelah before heading to the farm — and it makes for a perfect half-day itinerary.
Pull up at the Bulahdelah Tourist Information Centre for a comfort stop and coffee break. Clean bathroom facilities available — ideal for a full coach load before heading to the farm.
Bulahdelah is well known for its bakery and its amazing cuisine. It's a favourite stop for travellers on the NSW coast — your passengers will thank you for the detour.
From the town centre it's just a short drive to the farm. Arrive relaxed, fed and ready for two hours with the Clydesdales.
